1.法規與資格 Regulations & Eligibility

境外生若欲在台灣從事任何形式的工作，必須先取得「工作許可」。申請工作證須持有有效居留證（ARC）。若未經許可工作，將違反台灣法規，可能面臨罰鍰或居留資格被取消。
All overseas students must obtain a “Work Permit” before working in Taiwan. A valid ARC (Alien Resident Certificate) is required for the application. Working without a permit is illegal and may result in fines or cancellation of residency.
 

2.工作時數限制 Working Hours Allowed

學期期間每週可合法工作時數為 20 小時（包含所有兼職、家教與校內工讀）。寒暑假期間雖然無時數限制，但仍須持有有效工作證。
Overseas students are allowed to work up to 20 hours per week during the semester. During summer and winter vacations, there is no hourly limit; however, a valid work permit is still required.
 

3.工作證申請流程 How to Apply for a Work Permit

1. 登入勞動部「外國人工作許可申辦系統」。
   Access the Workforce Development Agency’s Work Permit Online System.

2. 以護照或 ARC 註冊帳號。
   Register with your passport or ARC information.

3. 上傳學生證、在學證明、護照或 ARC。
   Upload your student ID, enrollment certificate, and passport or ARC.

4. 完成線上繳費新台幣 100 元。
   Pay the NT$100 application fee online.

5. 審核時間約 7–14 天。
   The review process takes approximately 7–14 days.

6. 核准後可下載 PDF 工作證。
   Once approved, the work permit can be downloaded as a PDF file.
    

4.常見合法工作類型 Common Legal Part-Time Jobs

合法的工作類型包括餐飲服務、超商門市、飲料店、補習班家教、校內行政工讀等。寒暑假期間部分學生也會參與工廠工讀，但必須持有工作證。
Common job types include food and beverage service, convenience stores, drink shops, tutoring, cram school assistant positions, and on-campus administrative jobs. Some students may work in factories during vacation, but a work permit is still required.
 

5.薪資與工作待遇 Salary & Pay

台灣基本時薪約介於新台幣 183 至 190 元之間（依年度調整）。加班費依照勞基法計算。薪資通常以銀行轉帳、現金或發放薪資單的方式支付。
The minimum hourly wage in Taiwan ranges from NT$183 to NT$190 (based on yearly adjustments). Overtime pay is regulated by the Labor Standards Act. Salary is typically paid via bank transfer, cash, or monthly payslips.

7.求職注意事項 Important Reminders

求職時請勿提供護照、ARC、銀行卡等重要證件予雇主保管，亦不應支付中介費或押金。面試前需確認薪資、工時、休假、領薪方式等資訊。若遇可疑情況，可撥打 165 反詐騙專線尋求協助。
Do not hand over your passport, ARC, or bank card to employers. Avoid jobs requiring agency fees or deposits. Before accepting a job, verify the salary, working hours, days off, and payment method. If you encounter suspicious job offers, call the 165 Anti-Fraud Hotline for assistance.
